Donna is affectionately known around school as "The Queen" and some of our staff took the "royal" theme to town for her birthday celebration. When she arrived at school on Monday morning, her office had been transformed...complete with a throne and plenty of decorations. It was awesome! Every class in the school was assigned a time to surprise Donna with 50 "something". Some people were so creative! She was totally surprised! Donna got everything she deserved for her birthday... lots of attention, gifts, sweets, surprise visitors and special treatment. I hope you had a super day Donna! We all love you so much! You are the glue of our school, my personal therapist, my lunch time date and a perfect friend! xo

This was at the end of a very exciting day.. and even some of the kids had crowns and tiaras. Notice my "many candled" cake, my milions of cupcakes, my red shoe tape dispenser.. my pink mirror to the left, posters of many hands.. my queen bees card to the right... Queen Bee welcome sign on the front of my desk... like WAY TO SPOILED.... but I really love Colby's crown that Michael's wife made for Michael!!! I loved all my classroom visits to the office and all my songs.. in french and english.. a great day...
Wow, what an awesome idea! It's so great that the kids got involved and her desk looks great too! Looks like she had a wonderful day.
