With Steve and Jason (Mary's husband) away, Mary and I have been able to spend a lot of time doing fun family activities with the kids. The kids get along great so it's always a pleasure to hang out. On our last Snow Day we decided to 
take the kids (+1) snowshoeing. It was a beautiful day...sunshine and hardly any wind! Here's the gang resting under a tree and then continuing down the "trail".
Snowshoeing is an awesome outdoor activity BUT with five running kids, lots of fresh powder and only two adults you are inevitably stopping often to readjust straps and fasteners. Here's a picture of one of the many readjustment times!
On the way back...we didn't fight it any longer. The picture says it all! ha!ha! F*$% the snowshoes...RUN KIDS RUN! teehee!

Haha!!! It was still fun and my kids did sleep very well that night. When does Steve go away again so we can hang out. Love the last picture of you holding up the snowshoes.
